2020 Isuzu D-Max XTR Colour Edition Unveiled For UK Market

Isuzu has introduced a new XTR Colour Edition of the D-Max in the UK. With the new Colour edition, the pickup truck gets a host of exterior accessories and a contrasting paint scheme. Talking of the XTR prefix, it refers to the custom body kit that D-Max gets to look menacing from every angle. The XTR Colour Edition will be available in4 colour options, namely Splash White, Obsidian Grey Mica, Cosmic Black Mica, and Titanium Silver Met with green accents all around. Prices for this limited edition are not yet announced and the manufacturer has not confirmed of the timeframe in which it will be available for purchase.

However, the carmaker has confirmed that the XTR Colour Edition will be sold in limited numbers only. The changes it gets in comparison to the regular D-Max are in plenty. It gets a set of 17-inch alloy wheels finished in satin black, which are shod with Pirelli Scorpion All-Terrain Plus tyres. The brakes callipers are painted in green colour to match the other green accents that it gets on the body kit.

The D-Max XTR Colour Edition will only go in sale in the UK market.

Other changes on the XTR Colour Edition include a front bumper guard, silver-finished radiator-grille surrounds, hood protector, custom edges for wheel arches, tinted rear windows, black colour caps for ORVMs and door handles, rear spoiler with XTR decal, updated tail lamps, green coloured dampers and anti-roll bars, heavy-duty side steps with drain holes, and more.

Isuzu has also infused several performance upgrades to the D-Max with the XTR Colour Edition. It gets Kevlar-lined ceramic brake pads and performance-spec front rotors. According to Isuzu, the new braking setup will offer better bite and feel, while it is also corrosion-resistant. It also features new suspension components to increase the ground clearance to a massive 250 mm. Also, the dampers are sourced from Pedders and will improve the D-Max’s on-road and off-road dynamics.
