The manufacturer has managed to price the base variant of the car in line with the base-spec trim of BS-4 redi-GO. The re-designed front facet of the Datsun redi-GO look fierce.

Renault Kwid is offered with 2 engine options – 0.8L and 1.0L petrol. The redi-GO is also offered with these engine options. However, unlike the Kwid, redi-GO comes in just one variant with the bigger 1000cc heart. It is priced at Rs. 4.44 lakh with the 5-speed manual gearbox and at Rs. 4.77 lakh with the 5-speed AMT. The smaller 800cc motor is capable of churning out a rated power and torque output of 54 PS and 72 Nm, respectively. Bigger 1.0L engine, on the other hand, whips out 68 PS of peak power and 91 Nm of peak torque.

Datsun redi-GO now gets a redesigned face that looks aggressive from every angle. Also, it looks upmarket as well, in comparison to its competition. Datsun has nicely used the sharp creases on the redi-GO’s front and rear facet. On the inside, the car now gets a redesigned dashboard, which looks a whole lot better than that of BS-4 version of the car. Overall, Datsun has performed a nice job to accentuate the car’s exterior and interior while keeping its original form intact.
