Ford India has recently added a new trim to Ford Freestyle’s line-up. Dubbed 'Flair Edition', the new top-spec trim is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 7.69 lakh and Rs 8.79 lakh for the petrol and diesel variant, respectively.

The newly-launched Ford Freestyle Flair Edition comes with a rather comprehensive cosmetic upgrade. With a host of new styling elements, the design of the Ford Freestyle Flair Edition looks a tad sportier than that of the regular version. Along with the exterior updates, the Ford Freestyle Flair Edition also gets some interior enhancements.

The most notable change on the exterior is the new dual-tone colour scheme, emphasizing the sporty appeal of the Flair Edition. Moreover, the new model even offers a dual-tone paint scheme with a contrasting black paint for the roof, which is a classic combination for a sporty-looking vehicle. The use of red highlights on the wing mirrors, front skid plate and the roof rails reinforces the bold and youthful design of the Flair Edition.

The Ford Freestyle Flair Edition also comes with a host of new design cues like black-out alloy wheels, Flair badge for the door, and body graphics. All of these new design elements work effectively in delivering a fresh appearance to the Ford Freestyle’s regular design. The new Ford Freestyle Flair Edition offers three colour options, White Gold, Diamond White, and Smoke Grey.

Coming to the cabin of the Flair Edition, you will instantly notice that the interior also integrates the red-black combination used on the exterior. There are red highlights on the door handles while the seats feature the Flair badge. The sporty theme is further enhanced by the combination of black and grey upholstery.

The Ford Freestyle Flair Edition carries forward all the premium features that are available on the high-spec variant of the Ford Freestyle like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, navigation support, automatic headlights, automatic headlamps, automatic wipers, reverse camera, automatic climate control, and remote central locking.

Ford Freestyle Flair Edition Specifications

The new Flair Edition variant is offered with two engine options. The petrol variant derives power from a 3-cylinder 1.2-litre TiVCT petrol engine generating 96 PS of power and 120 Nm of torque. The other engine is a 1.5 TDCI diesel engine with 100 PS maximum power and 215 Nm of peak torque. Both of the two engines come with a 5-speed manual transmission.
