Hyundai has sold around 1 lakh units of Venue in India. It rivals with the likes of Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport.

Last week, Hyundai Motor India announced that they’ve retailed over 1 lakh units of Venue since its launch in the Indian market. The automaker launched the compact SUV in India in May last year. Quick calculations show that the car maker is selling roughly 255 cars a day, which means, on an average, more than 10 units are being sold every hour. It is the top-selling car in its segment and rubs shoulders with the likes of Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport. Since its launch, the automaker has sold 97,000 units in the domestic market and around 7,400 units globally. This year stands out to be not that fruitful for the Indian automobile industry, but the automaker still managed to retail the compact SUV in good numbers.
