New-gen Audi RS7 Teased, Launch Soon

Recently, Audi has released the teaser for the upcoming next-gen RS7. Positioned as the flagship four-door sedan model of the luxury German car brand, the new-gen RS7 seems to have a lot going for itself. As per the schedule, the RS7 will go on sale next month.

From the front, the Audi RS7 features some aggressive styling elements

In its current form, the Audi RS7 is known for its powerful performance and practicality that a four-door saloon offers. It is praised as one of the fastest sedan available in our market. The flagship vehicle manages to provide a top-class luxury and comfort while keeping high practicality. It is expected that the upcoming model will stay true to this value and even take it to a new level.

The RS7 shared the same silhouette with the standard A7. However apart from the shared bonnet, front door and boot lit design, the two sedans are wildly different. The most notable difference between the A7 and the RS7 is that the RS7 sports a greater width and a more aggressive front design. On the front end, the latter comes with a gloss black honeycomb grille and dominant air dam. To the rear end, the RS7 features a bigger diffuser with oval exhausts. In line with its massive size, the side profile sports 20-inch wheelset as standard while the 22-inch wheels will be available as an option in the international market.

On the inside, Audi RS7 gets a sleek and sporty interior design 

Coming to the inside, the interior comes with a host of cutting-edge technologies with a dual-touchscreen setting on the dashboard. It also includes some sporty design elements like Alcantara trim and RS steering. The seats with additional bolstering is also a highlight of the RS7.

In agreement with its sport and aggressive look, the RS7 provides equivalent quality when it comes to its performance. Under the hood, the sedan flaunts a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine which derives a maximum power of 600 PS and a top torque of 800 Nm. This engine comes with an eight-speed automatic gearbox that delivers power to the four wheels. This powertrain setting allows the car to sprint from idle to 100 kmph in mid-three-second range.

In terms of the pricing, the Audi RS7 is expected to be priced from Rs 1.2 crore upwards. In the same price range, the flagship sedan will come up against the likes of Mercedes AMG E63 and BMW M5 Competition.
