The upcoming new-gen Mercedes- Benz C-Class has been recently spied while testing without camouflage. The test mule of the premium sedan shows some major tweaks as compared to the current-gen model. It gets a new grille up front featuring a single chrome slat grille along with Mercedes-Benz logo placed in the middle. The car also gets a new front bumper, which looks sportier than the ongoing model. A few other visible details include a revised bonnet, aggressive-looking sleek headlamps and sunroof. It’s the first time that the all-new premium sedan has been spied testing undisguised, and honestly, it is hugely inspired from the S-Class. It gets a new set of headlamps, which are inspired by the S-Class. It looks sleeker compared to that of the outgoing model and is likely to employ Mercedes Digital Light System. The front grille also gets new oval shape with a huge Mercedes logo. Moreover, the design of the front bumper is inspired by the AMG models. We are not able to see the rear fascia of the sedan, but one can expect it to feature new wrap-around taillights like the S-Class. Inside, the cabin of the car will employ a bigger touchscreen infotainment system integrated low into the centre console, a large fully digital instrument console, multi-functional steering wheel, automatic climate control and much more.

The upcoming premium sedan will likely to derive power from the same unit, which propels the ongoing model. One can also expect the car to be offered in mild-hybrid or full-hybrid variants. Mechanically, the new-gen Mercedes-Benz C-Class will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol unit and a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel motor. The automaker will also soon be adding a new state wagon/ estate model to the stable named as C-Class All-terrain. One launched, it’ll rival with the likes of VW Passat, Volvo V6- Cross Country and Audi A4 Allroad.
