Yuvraj Singh Buys JCW Inspired MINI Countryman Cooper S

The former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has a deep passion for high-end cars which has been reflected on Yuvraj Singh’s car collection.  Recently, the cricketer has become the proud owner of a brand-new JCW Inspired Mini Cooper Countryman S. The Mini Countryman is one of the biggest and most expensive hatchbacks from the British automaker in India with only two variants on offer – the Cooper S and the Cooper S JCW Inspired. The Countryman bought by Yuvraj Singh is the costlier S JCW variant which comes in a sparkling shade of Chili Red colour along with highlighting black stripes. Being a CBU unit, the Mini Countryman S JCW carries a mighty price tag of Rs 42.40 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Unlike the regular MINI Countryman Cooper S, the JCW-inspired version that Yuvraj Singh has purchased get a host of addition fitments. The more expensive variant of the Countryman S receives John Cooper Works Aerodynamic body kit on the outside with front underbody spoiler. The ORVMs are all blackened out while the rear spoiler wing also enhances its sportiness. The doors of the Countryman JCW-inspired edition gets Comfort Access system which is not available on the regular S variant. It’s worth mentioning the John Cooper Works Thrill spoke wheels shod with run-flat tyres too.

On the inside, the MINI Countryman JCW also gets some additional features such as a picnic bench, Harman & Kardon speakers, anthracite headliner, wireless charging, MINI Connected XL, JCW door entry stripes, heads-up display along with premium Punch Leather Carbon Black seat’s upholstery among others.

Talking of the engines, the MINI Countryman JCW Inspired shares the same 2.0-litre petrol engine that generates 192 PS of max power and 280 Nm of peak torque with the regular MINI Cooper S. However, the JCW-inspired model gets a sportier 8-speed Sport Automatic Steptronic gearbox option while that of the regular version is an 8-speed non-sport automatic unit. The variants can sprint up to 100 kmph from a standstill in 7.5 seconds and return the same level of fuel efficiency.
