What can you do to make your Mahindra Bolero stand out from the crowd? Check this mod out to get an idea.

The Bolero has been one of the most successful models from Mahindra. It was launched way back in 2000 as the evolutionary replacement for the Armada Grand, and it is a testament to its success that this car is still being sold in the Indian market with very minor changes with over 2 decades of sales. It has been so successful because of its unabashed off-road centric styling and very practical packaging, making it a very strong seller especially in tier-2 and tier-3 markets. The Mahindra Bolero has somewhat of a cult following among off-road enthusiasts and people in rural areas. The Bolero is also a favourite among modifying enthusiasts and has a bustling aftermarket scene in India. Today we have one such example.

This extensively modified Mahindra Bolero has been built by Revheads Chandigarh. It gets a new off-road bumper, with integrated LED fog lamps and two tow hooks. The front grille and logo have been given the piano black treatment, replacing the erstwhile chrome, while the headlights remain unchanged. Over to the side, it gets blacked-out ORVMs with integrated turn indicators which gives the Bolero a premium touch. Instead of being fitted with some outrageous alloys, the vehicle features blacked-out steel wheels, along with Maxxis Mud Terrain tyres on it. The stock sidesteps are binned and in comes some tasty custom units. Also, there are five roof marker lights mounted at the top.

Coming to the interior, it now gets wood inserts throughout the cabin and also features custom seat covers, along with new roof lining and 7D floor mats. A new android touchscreen infotainment system has been fitted which controls the custom audio setup. Other aftermarket bits include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power windows all round and remote central locking. Overall, this is quite a tastefully done modification that looks good. We at IndianAuto come across Bolero mods which can look downright ugly, but it's safe to say this is not one of them.
