The Mahindra Thar Wanderlust was first officially unveiled at the 2018 Auto Expo. All of the modifications made to the car are the product of Mahindra’s own ‘Customization team’. Whereas numerous modifications to the Mahindra Thar have been done, those to the Thar Wanderlust are properly the most magnificent ones. The interior of the Mahindra Thar Wanderlust Brown Edition also receives comprehensive modifications

Undeniably, the Thar Wanderlust is a brilliant vehicle both in terms of inside and outside.

Under the hood of the Thar Wanderlust is a 2.5L CRDe turbocharged diesel motor which also powers the regular Thar Wanderlust. The motor delivers a maximum power of 105 Bhp at 3,800 rpm and a peak torque of 247 Nm at 1,800 – 2,000 rpm. The power is sent to the four wheels through a 5-speed MT gearbox.

The Mahindra Thar Wanderlust will borrow the powertrain from the normal Thar

The modifications cost of the Thar Wanderlust is Rs 13.8 lakhs, which does not include that of the normal vehicle, which is Rs 9.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The unique brown camouflage paint on the car will even make its cost higher.
