2018 Tata Tigor Facelift Launched in India Today

The best-selling compact sedan, 2018 All-new Tata Tigor has reached our shores with a long list of new upgrades hoping to keep up with its rivals.

The price of this model ranges from Rs 5.20 lakh (for the petrol engine) to Rs 6.09 lakh (for diesel variant).

New Tata Tigor 2018 has entered our market that boasts a bunch of interior and exterior changes.

The exterior upgrades

The 2018 Tata Tigor facelift reveals with six colours options (Egyptian Blue paint, Berry Red, Pearlescent White, Espresso Brown, Titanium Grey and Platinum Silver) and scores of cosmetic changes:

Sculpted bumpers with chrome finish
A new diamond-shaped chrome embellishment on the front grille
Projector headlamps and clear lens tail lamps
Piano black shark fin antenna along with a 36-LED stop light.
Chrome-accented door handles, crystal inspired taillights and 15-inch alloys.

The interior upgrades

The overall design remains the same layout and dashboard whilst there are several updates on the all-new 7-inch capacitive touchscreen infotainment system from Harman supporting some contenders such as Android Auto, Apple CarPlay. Additional updates include the voice command based navigation, MirrorLink, Bluetooth connectivity, fast charging port, etc. The safety features also receive Tata Motors’ attention encompassing the dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, corner stability control with rear parking sensors and drivers’ seatbelt reminder, etc.

The 2018 Tata Tigor will carry on using the same 1.2-litre petrol engine and 1.05-litre diesel unit that are all paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox and an optional 5-speed AMT for the petrol variant.
