Bookings for MOST AFFORDABLE Audi SUV Are Now Underway

2020 Audi Q2 is scheduled to launch on October 15. Ahead of the launch date, Audi India has opened the booking for the upcoming compact SUV. Customers can book the Audi Q2 via the Audi dealership or the official website of the car brand. The booking for the new Audi Q2 is available at the token amount of Rs 2 lakh.

Before launch, the Audi has released some teasers for the new India-spec Q2. The Audi Q2 is positioned as the entry-level model in the Audi’s SUV line-up. This year, Audi has launched four vehicles including Q8, A8L, RS7 and RSQ8 and the Audi Q2 will the fifth launch in 2020.

Besides opening the bookings for the Audi Q2, Audi also introduced the “Peace of Mind” benefit for the customers of the upcoming model. This offer includes a 5-year service package with 2+3 year extended warranty and 2+3 roadside assistance. It will be available as a complimentary benefit for the pre-launch order.

Talking about the new Audi Q2, Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, said,

He also shows his confidence that Audi Q2 will appeal to the younger customers due to its performance and attractive prices. Apparently, with the launch of the Audi Q2, Audi expects to extend Audi’s customer band.

Audi Q2 is based on the Volkswagen MQB platform. The new model will come with features like the single-frame grille, LED headlight, LED DRLs, alloy wheels, and floating roof design.

In terms of powertrains, Audi Q2 will be powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine which can generate a top power of 190 Bhp and peak torque of 320 Nm. This engine will be mated to a 7-speed DCT. The upcoming vehicle will come with the Quattro all-wheel-drive system. This powertrain allows the Audi Q2 to run from idle to 100 kmph in 6.5 seconds and reach the top speed of 228 kmph. After entering the Indian market, the Audi Q2 will go up against the Mercedes Benz GLA.
