To celebrate the tenth year in the marekt, Audi Q5 and Q7 will be offered with a massive discount that goes up to Rs 6.1 lakh.
It has been ten years since the first day Audi Q5 and Q7 set foot on our shore back in 2009. This year, in order to celebrate the one-decade landmark, Audi has offered a special discount program for the customers of Q5 and Q7. The discount scheme, as Audi puts it, is “limited-period celebratory pricing”. Under the new celebratory pricing, the customers can get the benefit of up to Rs 6.1 lakh.
Audi Q5 and Q7 are offered with attractive discounts of up to Rs 6.1 lakh
Currently, Audi Q5 is on offer in the Indian market under the form of a five-seater. Two engine options are available, a 2.0-litre petrol engine for the 45 TFSI variant and a 2.0-litre diesel engine for 40 TDI. The former is capable of making a maximum power of 252 PS while the latter is good for 190 PS. A 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox is standard in both the diesel engine petrol version. All variants are offered with an all-wheel-drive system. Audi Q5 comes in two trims, standard Premium Plus and a top-spec Technology which is better equipped in terms of infotainment functions.
On the other hand, the flagship Audi Q7 was available with the same 45 TFSI petrol motor. But for the diesel range, Audi Q7 is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 motor that delivers a maximum power of 250 PS. The diesel unit is mated with 8-speed automatic transmission. Similarly, the flagship SUV is also available with two trims, Premium Plus and Technology.
Under the new pricing scheme, Audi Q7 is now priced at Rs 49.99 lakh, which is lowered by Rs 5.9 lakh from the official price. After discounted by Rs 4.92 lakh, the Audi Q7 45 TFSI variant is now offered at Rs 68.9 lakh while its diesel version, the 45 TDI diesel unit, was now priced at Rs 71.99 lakh after receiving the highest discount rate of Rs 6.1 lakh.
The attractive pricing is expected to boost the sales of the Audi Q7 and Q5
It is hoped that the new pricing will help Audi to attract more customers during this festive season. Plus, another reason to offer discounts is that Audi needs to clear stock of the BSIV Q7 before the new BSVI-compliant version rolls off. Sharing about the celebratory special pricing, Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, commented, “As these two immensely popular models from our portfolio complete a decade in India, we want to reward our customers and Audi enthusiasts with special prices. This celebratory pricing will make our iconic Q-models accessible to luxury enthusiasts.”
Audi is having a busy time in the India market. Currently, the German automobile giant has introduced the new A6. Following the A6, Audi is planning to launch the all-new A8 as well as the Q8 and an EV in our market. To get more information, visit IndianAuto.com.
