BSIV Hyundai Creta Available For A Big Bargain!

Hyundai is offering discounts up to Rs 1.15 lakh with the current-gen model. The ongoing Hyundai Creta has been priced between Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 15.72 lakh (ex-showroom).

India's second-largest carmaker Hyundai showcased the new-gen Creta in India at Auto Expo 2020, and now, the company has planned to launch the car on 17th Match, 2020. Although, if you are planning to buy a new C-SUV, the last-gen Creta is the car a budget-conscious buyer can go for because some Hyundai dealerships are offering discounts of up to Rs 1.25 lakh. The outgoing Hyundai Creta has been priced between Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 15.72 lakh (ex-showroom).

The first-gen model is propelled by three different BS4 powertrain options, which include a 1.4-litre oil burner, a more potent 1.6-litre diesel mill and a 1.6-litre petrol mill. The 1.4-litre diesel unit puts out power and torque outputs of 90 PS and 220 Nm, respectively, while the 1.6-litre oil burner offers 128 PS of peak power and 260 Nm of twisting force. Moreover, the 1.6-litre petrol mill churns out 123 PS of power and 151 Nm of peak torque. The 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engine come coupled to a 6-speed automatic and 6-speed manual transmission, while the 1.4-litre diesel engine comes paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox option as standard.

Outside, the SUV features bi-functional projector headlights with LED DRLs and LED taillights. The ongoing Hyundai Creta also features sporty looking 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Inside, the SUV comes loaded with features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, cruise control, wireless phone charging pad, 6-way electronically adjustable driver's seat, ventilated front seats, electronic sunroof, steering mounted controls and much more.

Moreover, the first-gen Hyundai comes equipped with safety features like ABS with EBD, 6 airbags, reverse parking camera and sensors, Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Vehicle Stability Management (VSM). The current car compete with the likes of MG Hector, Kia Seltos and Nissan Kicks. While the Kia Seltos has been priced between Rs 9.89 lakh to Rs 17.34 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), one can expect the new-gen model of Creta to carry a slightly lower price tag.
