The SUV was launched back in 2015 with a tagline ‘The Perfect SUV’. Recently, Hyundai launched the new-gen model of the mid-size SUV with an all-new tagline ‘The Ultimate SUV’. Also, note that the figures mentioned above are the units which are sent out by the carmakers to the dealerships. The dealerships are not able to retail cars in the country due to the 21-day nation-wide lockdown. The Indian automobile industry is going through a huge loss because the carmakers have halted the manufacturing at their production facilities and are concentrating more towards producing medical equipment like face masks and ventilators.
