With a contemporary exterior design, a well-equipped cabin, various engine and transmission options along with an aggressive price, the Hyundai Venue has managed to gain an excellent sales number in India.

More than 42,681 units of the Hyundai Venue have been announced to be sold from May to September, which means that more than 8,000 units of the vehicle were sold each month. This total sales number also helps the vehicle become the best-selling utility vehicle in India. The Southern auto maker has received more than 75,000 bookings for this vehicle. Noteworthily, 50% of the customers prefer variants with the Blue Link system, which is available in the SX DCT and the top-spec SX(O) ones.

The Hyundai Venue has recorded a sales number of over 8,000 units sold per month since its launch in India.

The Maruti Vitara Brezza held the second position with a sales number of 40,425 units from May to September. In the meanwhile, the Mahindra XUV300, with a far lower sales number of 19,370 units, ranked the third position. The two other popular compact SUVs, the Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport recorded a sales number of 17,137 units and 16,016 units during the same period, respectively. Commenting on the achievement of the Hyundai Venue, Executive Director of Hyundai Motor India Ltd, Mr S J Ha stated,

“It is a moment for great pride for us as VENUE had outperformed to become the No.1 Utility Vehicle in India. The enthralling response of VENUE with over 75,000 bookings and 42,681 happy customers within 5 months is a testimony of the customers’ increasing preference towards the refreshed design and innovative features of India’s First Connected SUV.”

The Hyundai Venue is equipped with a wide array of top-notch features like an electric sunroof, air purifier, wireless phone charging, autocruise, etc. Having said that, the most unique selling point of the Hyundai Venue must be the Blue Link system with 33 connected functions, 10 of which have been specifically developed for India.
