Mahindra Launches New Bolero Power+Special Edition With New Features Inside And Out

Mahindra Bolero Power+ Special Edition has been launched with some new cosmetic updates. It carries a price tag of Rs 22,000 over the regular version.

Taking advantage of the festive season, many carmakers are offering attractive discounts while some are trying to capture customers' attention by introducing enhanced versions of existing offers. Mahindra has just launched a new special edition of the Bolero Power+, in an attempt to boost the sales of this SUV during the festive season. This special edition Bolero Power+ will be equipped with a couple of new cosmetic features.

Mahindra Bolero Power+ Special Edition comes with some new updates for the interior and exterior

Talking about its exterior, the Mahindra Bolero Power+ Special Edition adds some new design elements to the mix. To make it stand out from the regular range, the special edition comes with additional foglamps and stop-lamp-integrated spoiler. Inside, there are plenty of enhanced features added to spice up the ambience. For example, the Power+ Special Edition gets a new design for the seat covers, carpet mats, decals, new cover design for the steering wheel, and new scuff plates.

Notably, before the launch of the enhanced edition, Maruti Bolero had already been given updates for enhanced safety. The Bolero is now available with driver airbags, ABS, front seatbelt reminder, speed warning system, rear parking sensor, all as standard features. Moreover, changes are made to the structure of the car so that it can meet the upcoming crash test standards.

Apart from the cosmetic updates, the Maruti Bolero Power+ Special Edition remains mechanically identical to the standard Bolero including  offering the same powertrain options. It continues to sport the 1.5-litre three-cylinder SOHC diesel engine that generates a maximum power of 70 PS and peak torque of 195 Nm. This engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission.

Maruti Bolero Power+ Special Edition features the same power setting

Maruti Bolero has been a part of the Indian automotive market for almost two decades and is now a staple scenery. Throughout the ups and downs of the market, the car still persists and thrives with its definitive off-road capability and rugged look. The prices for the updated Bolero stands in a range starting from Rs 7.86 lakh and going up to Rs 8.86 lakh.  The Maruti Bolero Power Plus Special Edition with new features will cost Rs 22,000 over the regular version top-of-the-line version. Along with the introduction of this special edition model, Mahindra will continue with the development of the new-gen Mahindra Bolero which is scheduled to launch in 2020. Before the new-gen Bolero is launched, Mahindra will introduce the next-gen Thar and Scorpio.
