Mahindra Thar Special Edition will come with some new exterior and interior features
According to the leaked images, Mahindra will limit the production of the Signature Edition to only 700 units. As revealed earlier, the special Thar will be available in two exterior colours, Napoli Black and Aqua Marine. Besides, the new Thar will feature some special touches like the black decals on the hood and silver accent on the front bumper. Especially, the limited-run Thar will wear a special Signature Edition badge with the signature of Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group on the fender. Apart from these new features, the limited Thar Signature Edition will carry the 5-spoke 15-inch alloy wheels from the old-gen Mahindra Scorpio.

Previously, Mahindra Thar was available with three variants, the DI 4x2, DI 4x4 and CRDe. Just like in the regular model, this engine will be paired with the same 5-speed manual gearbox.
The second-gen Mahindra Thar is expected to make the first appearance at the Auto Expo 2020. At first, the new Thar is expected to be available with only diesel engine. Later on, a petrol engine is likely to be added to the range. By now, Mahindra Thar has been seen for several occasions. Mahindra Thar 2020 will compete with the Force Gurkha.
