New Maruti Dzire (facelift) Available With Discounts Worth Rs 50,000

Maruti Suzuki’s smallest sedan offering has recently undergone a minor facelift. The company is also providing a generous discount on the Dzire facelift to further boost the car’s appeal.

The Indian auto industry is currently going through a really tough time. Since last year, there has been a sales slowdown in the market, and with the nationwide lockdown due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, things have gone worse. Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest car manufacturer, has recorded a huge decline in sales. To attract customers, the company is offering significant discounts on the 2020 Maruti Dzire (the latest facelift model).

2020 Maruti Dzire facelift is currently available with hefty discounts

The Maruti Dzire facelift is available with a cash discount worth Rs. 20,000. There is a corporate discount of Rs. 5,000 available on the car. Also, you can avail an exchange bonus worth Rs. 25,000. This bonus will be added to the value of the car you bring in for exchange at Maruti True Value. In total, you can avail a maximum benefit of Rs. 50,000 (excluding exchange car value) on the purchase of a new Maruti Dzire, which is quite a hefty discount! The car currently retails for between Rs.  5.89 lakh and Rs. 8.80 lakh (ex-showroom prices, New Delhi).

The 2020 Maruti Dzire is available with a BS6-compliant, 1.2-litre, naturally aspirated, inline-4, petrol engine. It is capable of generating 90 PS and 113 Nm of maximum power and peak torque, respectively. Compared to the pre-facelift version, the new model is more powerful by 7 PS. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard, and a 5-speed AMT is also available as an option.

Even though it is a budget offering, the Maruti Dzire comes packed with a lot of premium features as well. It gets the lastest SmartPlay Studio infotainment system with 7-inch touchscreen display. It offers Android Auto as well as Apple CarPlay connectivity. This, of course, is only available in higher trims. Standard safety equipment includes ABS, EBD, seatbelt pretensioner and reminder for the front seats, overspeeding alert, door-open warning, speed-sensing door locks, reverse parking sensors, and dual front airbags.
