These include some extremely popular vehicles like Swift, Vitara Brezza, Dzire, Jimny, S-Presso and more. Commenting on this latest accomplishment, Mr Kenichi Ayukawa, Managing Director & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited said:

“The Company is committed to Hon’ble Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi’s vision of Make-in-India. The 20 lakh vehicle exports from Maruti Suzuki are a testimony of the same. This early global exposure helped the Company enhance its quality and attain global benchmarks.”

He also added that the models manufactured by the India facility found trust and high acceptance of the international customers owing to the strict compliance with the global quality, safety, design and technology standards. According to him, Maruti has “aligned itself with the evolving needs of customers in African and Latin American nations". In the future, with a line of new upcoming models to enter the market soon, they expect to attract customers in new segments and reach the next milestone at a much faster pace.
