Renault Triber Launched At A Starting Price Of INR 4.95 Lakh

The Renault Triber is underpinned by the CMF-A+ platform, which is an upgraded version of the CMF-A platform, which supports the Renault Kwid. The Triber measures 3,990 mm  long, 1,739 mm wide and 1,637 high. The ground clearance and the wheelbase of the vehicle measure 182 mm and 2,636 mm, respectively.

As regards the exterior, the Renault Triber sports a wide range of features including a three-edge grille and projector headlamps with chrome LED DRLs in the front. On the side profile, 15-inch alloy rims, black plastic wheel arch protections and roof bars are available. In the rear, the Triber is equipped with dual-part eagle beak taillights.

The Renault Triber interior gets a seven-seat layout with a dual-tone paint scheme. Noteworthily, the rear seat row of the vehicle can be easily removed for more amber cargo space. The 84-litre boot space in the 7-seat configuration can be expanded to 320 litres and 625 litres in the 6-seat and 5-seat configuration, respectively.

The cargo space of the Triber can be considerably expanded when the rear seat row is removed.

Besides the removable rear seat row, the Triber is replete with numerous other outstanding interior features. These include LED instrument cluster, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit which supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, ceiling-mounted rear air vents and pillar-mounted air vents for the second seat row. The Renault Triber also complies with the new stricter safety standards which have recently taken effect in India with a long list of safety features which include four airbags, ABS, driver and co-driver seatbelt reminder, speed warning and rear parking sensors.

The Renault Triber keeps under its hood an upgraded version of the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated gasoline burner with three cylinders. Featuring VVT technology, this motor can generate a maximum power of 72 PS against a peak torque of 96 Nm. The transmission duties are undertaken by 5-speed MT and AMT units. The claimed fuel mileage is 20 kmpl.
