Renault has hiked the price of Triber. It is offered in four different trim levels.
The French automaker Renault has increased the prices of Triber again and this time the base model has also got affected. Usually, for the last 2-3 hikes, the base model of the MPV was left out, while the other trims get affected. Now, the entry-level RXE variant faces the highest price hike and all the other trims face a very small hike. Check out the updated price list below.
The entry-level RXE model gets pricier by Rs 12,000. It is not offered by an AMT transmission. The RXL and RXT variants, including manual and automatic trims, face a hike of Rs 4,000. Moreover, the top-spec RXZ variant gets a price hike of Rs 5,000. Now the price of Renault Triber starts at Rs 5.12 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and goes all the way up to Rs 7.34 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Before this price hike, the Renault MPV had the advantage of having a trim under Rs 5 lakh. Nevertheless, it is still one of the most practical 7-seater MPV in India. It is powered by a 1.0-litre, three-pot gasoline motor, which develops 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are done by a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT.
Recent, reports suggest that soon Renault will introduce a new 1.0-litre turbo petrol motor, which is capable of shredding out 100 PS of peak power. Inside, the Renault Triber comes loaded with features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, fully digital instrument cluster, reverse parking camera, rear parking sensors, AC blowers for all three rows, central locking system, 15-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps and easily removable third-row seats and much more. In terms of dimensions, the Renault Triber is 3,990 mm, 1,739 mm, 1,643 mm and has a wheelbase of 2,636 mm. Moreover, it is also offered in five distinctive colour shades- Electric Blue, Fiery Red, Metal Mustard, Moonlight Silver and IceCool White.
