Recently, Tata Hexa Safari Edition was spied during testing. The launch of new new Hexa will mark the return of this model to the Indian car market.

Launched in 2016 as the flagship vehicle of the Tata line-up, Tata Hexa has proved itself to be a highly trust-worthy car. However, the car did not receive considerable commercial success. Last year, Tata Motor discontinued the production of this premium SUV due to the BSVI emission norms. Fortunately, it is not the end for the flagship SUV yet. In fact, Tata Motors is planning to bring back this gem to the market later this year or early next year. Recently, an image of the new Tata Hexa that was clicked while the car was road testing has surfaced online. Interestingly, it doesn't look like the Tata Hexa Safari Edition that was showcased back at the Auto Expo 2020. Back then, Tata confirmed that they would launch this model under the BSVI avatar. The recent spied vehicle is believed to be the Tata Hexa Safari Edition 4x4 AT.

At the Auto Expo, this model was introduced as a concept car even though it looked more like a near-production car which based on the Tata Hexa on sale back then. As for the production version of the Tata Hexa Safari Edition, we do not expect much changes from the displayed model at the motor show.

Tata also revealed the interior of the concept car that was put on display. The displayed model came with a dual-tone black-white interior scheme. The dashboard sports the Safari Edition badge along with the Harman-sourced 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with the 10-speaker JBT system. In addition, there are ConnectNext support, emergency assist, park assist, smart remote, and smart manual.
