Tata Nexon XM Modified to Look Like Kraz Edition for Just Rs 500

In September last year, Tata Motors, the popular homegrown carmaker, relaunched the Kraz Edition of the Nexon to commemorate the 1 lakh sales milestone. The special edition brought in Tangerine colour highlights on the exterior and interior of the compact SUV in order to give it a distinct look. Of course, all the adornments came at a premium over the regular model but a video that recently surfaced on Youtube shows how easily one can modify a Tata Nexon XM (mid-spec) to look like the Kraz Edition.

As you can see, all that the vlogger has required for this transformation are two cans of spray paint, which cost less than Rs 250 each. To begin with, the owner has re-painted the five-spoke wheel caps with a black base paint and given an orange highlight to a section of the accessory to mimic the footwear of the Kraz Edition. It may be noted here that neither the XM trim nor the Kraz version are equipped with alloy wheels and instead, come with a rather stylish set of five-spoke wheel caps. Other than this, the Youtuber has also purchased the official adornment for the grille of the Nexon Kraz Edition.

However, unlike what was desired, the owner of the compact SUV could source the part only in the Neon Green colour and had to later paint it orange. Other than this, even the ORVM caps of the mid-spec Nexon have been given an orange treatment in order to round up the updates for the exterior. Inside, the Tata Nexon Kraz Edition used to come with Tangerine accents on the seat fabric and piano black dashboard trim with tangerine coloured air-vent surrounds. However, from the looks of it, the SUV shown in the video misses out on any sort of updates for the interior.

Last month, Tata Motors rolled out the mid-cycle update for the most affordable SUV in its portfolio, The refreshed Nexon comes with an updated styling package, BSVI-compliant petrol and diesel engines and a handful of interior enhancements. It is priced from Rs 6.95 lakh* to Rs 12.70 lakh*.
