Toyota Innova Crysta G Plus Launched at an Introductory price of Rs 15.57 lakh

The new variant of Innova, Crysta G Plus will be launched with both seven and eight seat version with the price from Rs 15.57 lakh.

Toyota Innova Crysta has been one of the most popular MPVs ever. Till now, it has been available in 4 grades- GX, VX, ZX and Touring Sport. Now, the company has launched a new base-level grade called 'G Plus'.

Official details on the G+ variant are yet to be revealed as the brochure and the official website is yet to be updated. The detailed information regarding the features has also not been revealed yet. However, the G Plus variant is expected to have more features than the previous entry-level version, which was discontinued due to the low demand in 2018. The Toyota Innova Crysta G Plus will also not offer Red and Pearl White exterior paint options.

In terms of powertrain, the G+ is available with a 2.4-litre diesel engine which comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. There is no automatic transmission on offer.  Regarding the price, the Innova Crysta G Plus will be positioned at Rs 15.57 lakh for the seven-seat version. Meanwhile, the eight-seat option costs Rs 15.62 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom, Mumbai). To be different from the regular G grade, which is only on a made-to-order basis and is mainly for the fleet buyers, the G+ grade is accessible to both private and fleet customers.

Compared to the Toyota Innova Crysta GX, which is priced at Rs 15.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai), this Innova Crysta's entry-level prices for private customers drops by Rs 38,000 due to the launch of the Toyota Innova Crysta G Plus variant.
