Exterior

For the front end, the facelifted Audi A4 features more pronounced folds and creases on the hood. The front grille is also updated to stay in line with other models on Audi’s line-up. Moreover, the chrome inserts were also eliminated, making way for a more minimal and sportier look. Toward the rear end, Audi bid farewell to the sharp and edgy design and welcomes a curvier and more rounded version. With some minor updates, the new facelift has managed to forge fresh and transformational changes.

Interior

As for the interior, the facelift model will not see many comprehensive updates. It carries forward the identical design from the outgoing model. Buyers will get the same 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the latest MMI user interface, as well as other connectivity technologies. Other features from the pre-facelift model like Audi Virtual Cockpit, three-zone climate control will continue to be included on the equipment list.

In terms of safety features, the Audi A4 facelift is fitted with eight airbags, cruise control with speed limiter, reverse parking guideline along with many more, which is identical to the existing model’s offer.

Engine

One of the major updates of the facelift A4 is the new 2.0-litre single cylinder petrol TFSI engine which is also employed on the Q2. There will be no diesel engine on offer for the upcoming facelift version. However, it is expected that Audi A4 will bring forward the 12-volt mild-hybrid system which is used on the Europe-spec model. The hybrid system will offer better acceleration, fuel economy, and a higher level of refinement. An eight-speed automatic transmission is expected to make it to facelift version.
