The 2021 Audi A4 facelift is among the first set of Audi models to reach our shores next year. The first batch of the Audi A4 facelift has just rolled off the production line at the factory based in Aurangabad, thereby hinting at the imminent launch of the compact sedan. The German carmaker has made a host of changes in the 2021 A4 facelift with slight revisions on the outside and heavy updates underneath the bonnet. In its updated avatar, the 2021 Audi A4 is sexier and sportier than the outgoing model. Design Changes

In terms of look, the 2021 Audi A4 facelift now looks pretty sharper than its predecessor, given the inclusion of some finer character lines at the front. The LED headlamps and DRLs also get some revisions, giving the car a more prominent look. There’s a wider single-frame front grille that looks bolder than the outgoing unit.

The fog lamps housing is also more angular compared to that of the preceding version. In a similar fashion, the rear end of the 2021 Audi A4 also looks a tad edgier with reshaped tail lamps and a new chrome strip connecting them together. While the cosmetic revisions are not significant, the new Audi A4 facelift version gets more pronounced changes added to its face. It looks no more understated to stay fresh in the competition, doesn't it?

The cabin of the Audi A4 facelift 2021 looks identical to that of the previous car, barring some upgrades in the feature department. The newly-added 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system comes with connected car tech and Audi’s latest MMI user interface. It’s worth noting that the old Audi A4 misses out on this element. Some other top-notch features like fully-digital Audi Virtual Cockpit and 3-zone climate control have been retained from the outgoing Audi A4 model.

Engine Performance

Under the bonnet, the 2021 Audi A4 facelift will be powered by a 2.0-litre single-cylinder TFSI petrol engine that powers the recently-launched Audi Q2. This engine is likely to be coupled with a 12V mild-hybrid system for better fuel efficiency and refinement and develop 190 horsepower. The powertrain will come mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The now-discontinued Audi A4 pre-facelift was equipped with a 1.4-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine that didn’t come with any hybrid option.
