The famous football superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo is hitting the headlines again, not for the current champion’s league but for the rumours that he had just added the cost-a-fortune Bugatti La Voiture to his exotic car garage.
Earlier last month, Bugatti took the covers off their one-of-a-kind supercar “La Voiture Noire” at the International Motor Show held in Geneva, Switzerland. At about $18 million, the fantastic beast is crowned as the world’s most luxurious and expensive supercar of all time. As a result, owning this ultra-deceptive hypercar is undoubtedly a big dream for almost everyone who has heard of this model at least once. The one-off Bugatti La Voiture Noire has been allegedly sold to an unknown enthusiast. According to a report, the world-renowned football player Cristiano Ronaldo is the secret buyer of the world’s most expensive vehicle and he may shell out about Rs 132 Crore (including taxes) to get this car to his garage.

There is no shred of evidence given on this assumption to prove that it is true and neither is there any picture/clip of Ronaldo with this opulent model. However, given the ultra-luxurious supercars collection of Ronaldo, which includes Rolls-Royce Phantom, Aston Martin DB9, Lamborghini Aventador, McLaren MP4-12C, Bently Continental GTC Speed, etc., this assumption is not beyond the bounds of possibility. This is also the first time that the name of the buyer has been speculated with the La Voiture Noire on social media.
The exclusive Voiture Noire showed up in a shade of matte black and came to pay homage to legendary Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic. Has been praised for its unique sculptural charisma along with the leading technological advances, the Bugatti La Voiture Noire is hailed as the ultimate GT that brings high-performance and fast speed to a strikingly new level.
The La Voiture Noire employs a spectacular 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 engine which is capable of tearing the tarmac with 1500 PS of max power and 1,600 Nm of peak torque. The "black beast" can reach the top speed of 420 km/h and accelerate like lightning from 0 to 100 kmph in only 2.5 seconds.
Speaking about its new creation, Stephan Winkelman, Bugatti’s President proudly said, “Our history is both a privilege and a responsibility – the responsibility for continuing the Bugatti heritage into the future. With “La Voiture Noire”, we are paying homage to our heritage and bringing speed, technology, luxury and aesthetics forward to a new era. La Voiture Noire is a far more than a modern interpretation of Jean Bugatti’s Type 57 SC Atlantic. It is a feast of aesthetics."
