This is the first-ever example of the new-gen Hyundai Creta that has been modified to carry a different appeal. Take a look at it here and tell us if you liked it.

Hyundai Creta in its second-gen avatar boasts of a contemporary design language. It looks posh and is attracting a lot of customers. However, it did take its own sweet time to grow on the audience. Design elements like massive cascading grille, inwardly-filleted wheel arches, and vertically-split headlamps and tail lamps; give the new-gen Creta a distinctive appeal. The overall design of the new-gen Creta is enough to make it stand out in the crowd, and it cannot be mistaken for something else. But we came across a modified example of the SUV and realized that someone wasn’t happy with the way new-gen Creta looks. Thus, modified the car to give it a different appeal altogether.

The car in the pictures is the entry-level trim of the new-gen Creta. It can be seen that the owner has modified it with intentions to make it look like a Land Rover. To start with, it is now painted in a shade of grey with a matte finish. The front facet now gets a different radiator grille, which is inspired by Land Rover SUVs. It also gets a Land Rover badge in the bottom-right corner. The headlamps have been masked to some extent. On the lower portion of the bumper, the fog lamp assemblies have been painted in a shade of white. The scuff plate, however, is finished in a silver colour scheme.

On the sides, 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels can be seen, which are painted in white. Also, this Creta gets a dual-tone paint scheme as the top-half has been painted in glossy black. The silver lightning arc is also finished in the same paint scheme here. The rear facet also is tweaked to a certain extent. The lower-half portion of the tail lamps is masked in the body colour, while the top-halves have been wrapped in piano black. Plus, they are now connected using the same piano-black theme. On the boot lid, Land Rover badges have been added as well. Overall, this mod-job looks quirky to us, and we believe that many would find it obnoxious for sure. However, what’s your take?
