Buying a car in India is not an easy affair, but the cars are much affordable here than in a lot of other countries. The per capita income of India for FY19 was recorded at Rs. 94,954. However, the cheapest car in India – Datsun RediGo, would set you back by Rs. 2.88 lakh (excluding tax). But, we recently came to know that buying a car in Cuba is at least four times more expensive than buying one in India. While digging a little deeper in the car culture of Cuba and its roots, we came across a used 2010 Hyundai i10 that is on sale for CUC 58,000. If converted to INR, this figure comes up to Rs. 42.64 lakh. This is the first-gen Hyundai i10 that was launched in the Indian market back in 2007 for a starting price of Rs. 4.23 lakh.
