Here’s a Mahindra Scorpio, which gets alloy wheels of new-gen Mahindra Thar. The mod job has been done by KB Tyres.

Mahindra Scorpio is one of the most popular SUVs offered by the carmaker in the Indian market. It is known among the buyers for its large dimensions, spacious cabin and off-road capabilities. In its segment, it rivals with the likes of MG Hector Plus and Tata Harrier. The Mahindra SUV is also popular among the modifiers as they modify it as per there preference. Here’s one such modified Mahindra Scorpio, which gets new alloy units.

The stock model of the SUV is offered with 17-inch rims. The Mahindra Scorpio you see here features 18-inch sporty looking alloy wheels. These alloy units are the stock wheels of 2020 Mahindra Thar. These alloy wheels are OEM component, so their overall quality is better than that of the aftermarket units. Moreover, the alloy wheels have also made this Mahindra Scorpio look more striking. The overall cost of this customization is not known, but one can directly contact the carmaker for more information. Other than this, no customizations have been done on the SUV.

Mahindra has soon planned to launch the new-gen Scorpio in the Indian market. The all-new model of the SUV will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol mill, which churns out 150 PS of power and 300 Nm of torque. It will also get propelled by a 2.2-litre diesel mill, which is capable of shredding out power and torque outputs of 150 PS and 320 Nm. Transmission duties will be done by a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. As compared to the current-gen model, the 2021 Mahindra Scorpio will be bigger in dimension and will offer a more spacious interior. Moreover, it will come loaded with a lot of features like a touchscreen infotainment unit with the latest connectivity options, drive modes, wireless charging pad, cruise control, sunroof and much more. Once launched, it will rub shoulders against the likes of MG Hector Plus, Jeep Compass and upcoming Tata Safari.
