Here's a Maruti Vitara Brezza that now runs on CNG, with an aftermarket CNG kit in place. Take a look at it here.

Earlier this year, Maruti launched the facelifted Vitara Brezza in the Indian market. Along with the simple nip and tuck job, the carmaker updated the SUV's powertrain with new BS6-compliant petrol motor. While the new engine helped Maruti in pricing the facelifted Vitara Brezza aggressively, it also opened the doors for owners to install a CNG kit in the car. Since a CNG kit cannot be installed on a diesel-powered car. However, Maruti is not offering the Vitara Brezza with an option of factory-fitted CNG kit. Although, it can be fitted with one via the aftermarket route. Here’s a video from the YouTube channel of Zuby Ustad, which showcases the installation of a CNG kit on a brand-new 2020 Vitara Brezza.

In the video, a viewer of the YouTuber, approaches him to get a CNG kit installed on his petrol-powered Vitara Brezza. The complete process of the installation is shown in the video. It can be said that the installation job was done with the utmost care and doesn’t look shoddy at all. The components used on this kit include a filling valve, ECU, spark timing advancer, pressure reducer, pressure gauge, fuel rail and more.
