Here’s a customised Mahindra Thar which looks very similar to the Jeep Wrangler due to the modifications it carries. This hard-top Mahindra Thar has been named as ‘BlueBull’.
Mahindra Thar is one of the most iconic off-roaders offered in the Indian market. The SUV was first launched back in 2010; the car was brought to fill in the gap that its predecessor, the MM540 had left empty in the carmaker’s stable. Mahindra Thar is quite popular among the off-road enthusiast and modifiers, who love to tweak the car as per their preference. Earlier, we’ve covered a lot of Thar customizations on our website. Here we have one more modified Mahindra Thar, which looks like mini Jeep Wrangler. Here are the details of what Danish has done to his Thar, which he named as ‘BlueBull’. All the exterior styling of this customized Mahindra Thar is uploaded on the YouTube channel named as Mahindra Thar.
The customization made on this Mahindra Thar includes azure blue colour shade, front off-road bumper along with a new aftermarket radiator grille, which looks quite similar to that of the Jeep Wrangler. Moreover, the bonnet and fenders have also been modified to make the Thar look like the Jeep Wrangler. This mod job also includes a new set of doors, aftermarket side mirrors and also a hard-top roof. The Mahindra Thar BlueBull is fitted with 15-inch, 10.5J steel rims wrapped around 33-inch mud-terrain tyres from Maxxis. The rear profile of this modified Mahindra Thar gets custom fender. The mechanical details of this customized Thar are not available.
The regular outgoing model is powered by a 2.5-litre four-pot diesel mill, which puts out 106 PS of peak power and 247 Nm of twisting force. The carmaker will soon launch the new-gen Thar in the Indian market. The upcoming Mahindra Thar will be more premium and upmarket than the regular model. It’ll come loaded with features like a new touchscreen infotainment system with latest connectivity options, a semi-digital instrument console, hard-top roof and much more. It’s the first time that the off-roader will be offered with an optional petrol power plant along with an automatic gearbox.
