The compact SUV segment was born in India after the Ford EcoSport arrived, and it proved to be a success among the Indian masses. Though it has been overshadowed by newer rivals, we came across this example which looks like no other.

The Ford EcoSport was one of the first compact SUVs in the Indian market, and over the first few years, it proved to be a very successful model for the US-based automaker. But over the last 3 years or so, the segment has seen rapid growth and with newer rivals like the Nissan Magnite and the Kia Sonet, sales of the EcoSport has seen a nosedive. Compared to them, the EcoSport looks dated but more importantly it misses on most of the latest features and tech its competitors come packed with. 2020 saw the lowest ever sales of the EcoSport since its launch, and Ford has recently updated it with a revised lineup and few more features to slow down its sales dip.

The video of the EcoSport has been uploaded by arwrap786 on Instagram. The compact SUV has gone through quite a drastic visual overhaul. The whole body is now covered in a custom wrap which gives it a rusting and decayed visage. You’ll notice the large Jurassic Park logo on the doors and the bonnet, and the telltale slashes of a velociraptor on the front and rear fender. It looks like the owner of this EcoSport was inspired by the iconic dinosaur movie, and made his personal vehicle look like it was there on the island itself and forgotten as the dinosaurs took over. Other than the striking wrap job and the all-black plastic wheel caps, this EcoSport remains largely stock inside and mechanically. Overall, this visual modification is certainly different and eye-catching, making sure it will turn heads everywhere it goes.
