This Pre-Facelift Maruti Swift Features Front Grille of 2021 Model

Recently, India’s biggest carmaker Maruti Suzuki launched the new facelift version of Swift. The automaker has made subtle cosmetic tweaks on its outside and inside. In its segment, it rivals the likes of Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and Ford Figo. Maruti Swift is one of the most stunning looking hatchbacks offered in the India market, and it didn’t need any major styling tweaks, but the subtle cosmetic changes done on the 2021 Swift has made the car look more striking. Here a recent image of the pre-facelift Maruti Swift, which wears an aftermarket grille of the 2021 model.

This customized Maruti Swift belongs to our friend Abhay Rajpurohit. He has made several modifications in his Maruti Swift. Talking about the recent customization, his Swift now gets the grille of the new 2021 facelift model. The cost of the grille is only Rs 1,700, which is quite affordable. This is India’s first-ever pre-facelift Maruti Swift to get the updated grille. Other than this, it gets multi-spoke 15-inch alloy wheels of Maruti Ciaz along with a front bumper splitter, side skirts and side diffuser. All these accessories employed in his car are genuine from the carmaker.

It also gets a sporty looking rear spoiler and blacked-out strips on the front fender. The pre-facelift of the car was powered by a 1.2-litre petrol mill, which churns out power and torque outputs of 82 PS and 113 Nm. On the other hand, the new 2021 Maruti Swift gets propelled by a 1.2-litre K-series gasoline unit the produces 89 PS of power and 113 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes paired with a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT. Outside, the 2021 model of hatchback gets a revised grille dual-tone roof. The Maruti hatchback gets retailed at a starting price of Rs 5.73 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base trim and goes all the way up to Rs 8.41 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
