The interior of the Skoda Superb Sportline is equipped with a wide range of advanced features
The Sportline has similar mechanical specifications with the other Superb cars except for the fact that it is only available with an automatic gearbox. It is powered by the 1.8-litre turbo-petrol motor with four cylinders, which can deliver 180hp of max power and 250Nm of peak torque. The power is sent to the four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Another option of the engine is the 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine, which can generate 77hp and 350Nm, mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. The mileage is 14.81kpl and 18.66kpl for the petrol and diesel variant, respectively.
The Skoda Superb Sportline is powered by both petrol and diesel motors, which is an advantage over its rivals
The Skoda Superb is priced in the range of Rs 25.59 - 32.99 lakh. With this competitive price, it is expected to effectively compete against Volkswagen Passat (Rs 29.99-32.99 lakh), Toyota Camry Hybrid (Rs 37.22 lakh) and Honda Accord Hybrid (Rs 43.21 lakh). The offers of both petrol and diesel motor options are also another advantage of Skoda Superb over its rivals. The two Japan-manufactured vehicles are offered with only petrol-hybrids; the German one comes with only a diesel motor. The novel mid-spec sportline trim is expected to help the Czech automaker boost their sales in the upcoming festive season.
