2019 Audi A6 Reaches Dealerships, To Launch Soon

The new Audi A6 comes with the newest design which was sourced from Audi Prolouge concept models. Specifically, the new vehicle will be equipped with a wider angular hexagonal one-frame grille. HD Matrix LED headlamps with contemporary-looking DRLs in the form of five lines will be positioned in the two sides of the grille. The rear will also get a far sharper styling with redesigned lamps and an updated tailgate. The taillights will be comprised of nine vertical typical light components under one horizontal line. The two tail lamps will be connected by a chrome strip.

The 2019 Audi A6 will be 4,939 mm long, 1,886 mm wide and 1,457 mm high. Compared to the previous model, the new one will measure greater by 7 mm, 12 mm and 2 mm in length, width and height, respectively. Moreover, its wheelbase will measure 2,924 mm, which is longer than that of the outgoing model by 12 mm.

The new Audi A6 will measure greater than the outgoing model in all the dimensions.

In terms of the interior, the new A6 gets a dual-display setup with a 10.1 infotainment display and another 8.6-inch unit located below for the convenience functions, climate control and text input. Moreover, a 12.3-inch virtual cockpit will also be present behind the driving wheel. The new A6 will also be equipped with a new MMI touchscreen infotainment unit which supports a smartphone interface. As regards the safety front, the most outstanding feature of the next-gen Audi A6 is 37 driver assistance systems which have been classified into three packages: tour assist, city assist and park assist.

The new-gen A6 will be packed with numerous cutting-edge features.

The new Audi A6 is expected to come with mild-hybrid motors. A 3.0-litre V6 gasoline burner which can generate 335 BHP against 500 Nm and an oil burner which can deliver 282 BHP against 620 Nm will serve as the power sources for the new vehicle. The transmission duties will be undertaken by a 7-speed S tronic unit on the petrol version and an 8-speed AT tiptronic gearbox on the diesel version.
