The 2019 Honda Civic has been unveiled with a host of outstanding features

After jumping over a huge success in the D-segment vehicles in India, the Honda Civic stumbled in 2012 owing to the lack of diesel engine on offer. Beware of that memorable experience, the Japanese-owned automotive company, for the very first time, comes to offer an oil burner in its ten-generation avatar. The all-new Honda Civic will be made available with a 1.6-litre i-DTEC 4-cylinder engine borrowed from the Honda CRV producing 120 PS and 300 Nm torque. Besides, the 1.8-litre i-VTEC petrol engine will come tuned for 141 PS of max power and 174 Nm units. The former is likely to team with a 6-speed manual gearbox to offer the class-leading mileage of 26.8 kmpl while the latter is engaged with a CVT automatic transmission.
