The entry-level hatch comes with an identical exterior to the previous generation with the black front grille, black door handles, black ORVM and silver wheel caps.

Powering the Kwid RXL variant is a 0.8-litre SCe engine which can produce the max power of 54 bhp at 5,678 rpm and the peak torque of 72 Nm at 4,386 rpm. A 5-speed manual transmission is exclusively offered on the RXL version. The more powerful 999cc three-cylinder motor good for 68 PS at 5,500 rpm and 91 Nm at 4,250 rpm is not available in the RXL but the top-of-the-line RXT (O) and Climber variants only.

Interior-wise, the 2019 Kwid RXL trim is equipped with a new infotainment system with monochrome LCD screen integrated with a navigation system. The variant also gets a 12V socket for smartphone charging on the go, and a manual AC also comes in very handy. The all-new Renault hatchback is generous in roominess and offers up to 300 litres of cargo capacity. The 2019 Renault Kwid now goes on sale with all the mandatory features including driver-side airbag, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), speed alert and rear parking sensors across all variants.

The new Kwid is being sold in six colour options: Fiery Red, Planet Grey, Ice Cool White, Moonlight Silver, Outback Bronze And Electric Blue.
