The 2020 Honda Jazz release date will fall in October 2019 as the all-new Fit will debut at Tokyo Motor Show

Honda will take the veil off the all-new Honda Jazz at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show. The new Jazz is expected to arrive the following year. Honda is reported to be carrying out tests on the new-gen premium hatchback in Europe and North America. In India, the Jazz is well-known for its spacious interior and a fully-loaded feature package. With the new updates inside and outside, it is hoped to regain its appeal to the customers and boost up the sales, just like what happened with the Honda Amaze last year.

On the outside, Honda Jazz carries forward the old silhouette while taking some new design elements. The following render has suggested us the new version of the Jazz. In line with other Honda models’ designs, the 2020 Jazz will continue to sport curvy style on the front profile. On this render, the Jazz adopts more angular headlamps integrated with LED projectors and vertical LED DRLs. The side profile stays mostly unchanged apart from a slightly revised C-pillar.

The rear side of 2020 Honda Jazz is comprehensively updated

Most exterior changes take place at the rear end. It gets an all-new taillight design. New spit wrap-around LED taillights are put horizontally while the chrome bar linking the two tail light is now replaced by a piano-black unit. It also gets a new rear spoiler, roof mounted fin antenna. New design characteristics make the new Jazz appear larger from the rear view.

Inside the new Jazz, there will also a host of new updates, especially with the feature list. Honda might present the new hybrid system on the 2020 Jazz. On the other hand, it will continue to offer the same powertrain option of a 1.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol motor.

After the debut at the Tokyo Motor Show, the new model will soon be brought to the India market, and it will continue to pit against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20 and the upcoming Tata Altroz. With a reasonable price tag, the Jazz is expected to repeat the accomplishment of the Amaze.
