2020 Hyundai i20 Real Life Pictures Revealed

Even though 2020 is not a good year for every business across the globe, it could not stop the South Korean car manufacturer, Hyundai, from continuously improving and introducing new car models. Soon after the lockdown was lifted in India, Hyundai quickly launched the new Tucson as a follow up to the facelift Verna and all-new Creta. Moreover, the car brand is also working in full mode to develop and enhance some of its current offerings for a near-future launch. One of them is the new Hyundai Elite i20.

Hyundai Elite i20 is the next car on Hyundai’s lineup to receive updates this year

The Elite i20 is an important product for Hyundai in the hatchback segment in India. However, this premium hatchback has been going for almost 6 years without receiving any substantial updates except for some minor mid-cycle adjustments. In the meanwhile, the third-gen i20 has started to go on sale in the global market. Recently, some real-life images of the Hyundai i20 have started circulating online. The Hyundai i20 in question is a model from Germany. This version clearly has a lot in common with the India-spec Elite i20 which was spied earlier in India before.

The real-life pictures have fully revealed some new key updates for the exterior design, including a prominent front grille flanked by sharp-looking headlight with integrated LED DRLs, revised front bumper, and triangle fog light housing. Throughout the body, the Hyundai i20 is designed with many sharp ceases and characteristic lines that make the car look sportier and more dynamic.

To the rear end, we will see pointy LED taillights connected by a red reflector along with a thick chrome bar running across the tailgate. There are also revised taillights, new rear bumper, and shark fin antenna. It is expected that Hyundai will introduce new colour schemes for the new Elite i20.

One of the key updates on the third-gen i20 is the increased dimensions. With the growing size, it means that the Elite i20 will come with a more spacious interior room. Under the hood, the premium hatchback is likely to get three engine choices including a 1.2-litre petrol engine, a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine or a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Both manual and automatic gearbox will be included on the new i20 as well. If nothing changes, the new Hyundai Elite i20 will go on sale around October this year.
