CNG cars are known for their low running cost and environment-friendly nature. Currently, there are 8 CNG car models available in India.

CNG is not a popular fuel type for car buyers in India. However, cars with CNG fitted kit have the advantage of low running cost, which explains why some people choose to buy a CNG model. Additionally, the CNG models are also known for its environment-friendly nature. Compared to the diesel and petrol engine, the CNG cars release less emission. The legal system also favours the CNG cars. Some cities offer lower road tax for CNG cars compared to petrol or diesel cars. In India, there are several options in the entry-level segment that features this particular fuel option. Maruti and Hyundai are two major car manufacturer that are offering CNG options on their line-up. IndianAuto will give you the list of all company-fitted CNG cars India 2021.

Why choose company-fitted CNG cars?

As mentioned above, CNG cars’ major strengths are its low running cost and environment-friendliness. In the Indian market, car buyers can have their car fitted with aftermarket CNG kit which can be provided at dealerships or car service shops. However, it is recommended that you pick a company-fitted CNG car instead of buying a dealer-fitted CNG unit for the following reasons

Company-fitted CNG models are more reliable. CNG-fitted kit will be manufactured by the car brand themselves, thereby, will match seamlessly with other mechanical parts of the car. On top of that, the quality of the authentic CNG kit will be guaranteed by the car manufacturer.

The installation of the CNG kit will be executed in a standardized procedure with a high level of precision. On the other hand, at the dealership, the CNG fitment is less likely to be carried out in a proper process. The worst case is that other expensive car parts and wiring will be damaged during the installation which will cost you a huge amount of money for repairs.

If you are using the CNG kit manufactured by the car brand, the warranty of your car will remain intact. In the meanwhile, once your car was fitted with an aftermarket CNG kit, the warranty for your car will be affected since the company will not be responsible when the problem arises, which might be inflected during the fitment process.
