Big Demand For Lamborghini Urus In India

The world’s fastest SUV, Lamborghini Urus has been launched in India in January 2018 is getting an impressive demand with waiting periods extending to 9 months.

Right from its first premiere, the Lamborghini Urus has garnered tremendous attention from both the international and the Indian enthusiasts. The supercar from the world-renowned Italian marque can accommodate 5 passengers and offer unique comfort and entertainment. The Italian manufacturer has had to cater the global demand that leads to less allocation for the Indian market. Hence, the Urus currently commands 9 month waiting period in the country.

Sharad Agarwal, Head of Lamborghini India said that:

“Today, it’s (the Urus) on nine months waiting in India and you can tell that’s it’s all driven by the supply from our production plant because and we have had a similar demand and waiting periods across the globe, it’s been very challenging to get the cars at the place at which the customers want them.”

The super sports car is even practical with a handful of sporty functions such as the adaptive air suspension, four-wheel drive and steering, active damping and more. Launched in the domestic market earlier this year, the Urus came just 38 days of its global reveal. It is claimed to be the fastest SUV in the world with a top speed of 305 kmph with the acceleration of 3.6 seconds from 0-100 kmph sprint.

The groundbreaking Urus comes to deliver a fascinated and outstanding performance through a 4.0-litre V8 Twin-turbo engine that can churn out 641 bhp of max power and a massive 850Nm of torque along with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The brilliant handling and responsiveness are also the key points of the car with a special Carboceramics Disc Brakes which can enable the Urus to decelerate from 100-0 kmph in 33.7 metres.
