BYD Yuan bears a strong resemblance to the Ford EcoSport; nevertheless, it is equipped with new styling components as well. In the front, the Yuan comes with a typical front grille, LED headlights and a redesigned C-pillar. Although, it misses out on the tail-gate mounted spare wheel that gives the EcoSport a tough-SUV appeal. The EV receives its power from a 53.22 kWh battery which can deliver a travel range of 410 km and 535 km at low speeds in a single charge. The electric motor can generate a maximum power of 160 BHP against a peak torque of 275 Nm. The BYD Yuan can accelerate from a standstill to 50 kmph in 3.9 seconds. The battery can be charged from 0% to 80% in 70 minutes with a fast charger.
