Nissan Pathfinder is set to return with a new generation overhaul. The new-gen model will come with an automatic gearbox.

Nissan Pathfinder was first launched in 1986. Recently, the vehicle was given a few new-gen updates which are intended to make it more attractive and desirable. The updates are comprehensive, ranging from refreshed design, new transmission options, 8-seater seating configuration, to other safety feature additions. To those who are not familiar with Nissan Pathfinder, this vehicle is currently taking on the likes of Hyundai Palisade and Kia Telluride.

On the new-gen version, Nissan has returned to the aggressive styling approach. Previously, Nissan had received unfavourable responses from the audience when it first launched the previous version of the Pathfinder. The carmaker has taken this opportunity to fix the controversial design. To beef up the exterior design, Nissan gives the new-gen Pathfinder a new aggressive V-Motion grille with think chrome lining, boxy LED headlights with LED DRLs.

The new-gen Nissan Pathfinder is likely to hit the market later on this year. However, it is unlikely that it will make its way to the Indian shore. For our market, Nissan is now enjoying considerable success with the launch of the Nissan Magnite last year. The compact SUV has attracted a good number of sales. Last month, Nissan has witnessed a staggering year-on-year growth of 220 percent.
