2020 Kia Seltos will be updated with new features like "Hello Kia" voice command, air purifiers, better interior materials, etc. Here is the full list of feature additions

For a completely new player like Kia Motors, it is exciting to see how the Korean brand records the appreciable sales figures in India with just two maiden products: Seltos and Carnival. Like any other carmakers, however, Kia couldn’t avoid the never-before-seen sales count of zero in April 2020 due to the ongoing pandemic. Now that the country gets some relaxations in the lockdown, Kia has decided to give the equipment list of Seltos a rejig to appeal to more customers. It will also help the SUV become stronger against the 2020 Hyundai Creta in the highly competitive segment.

The HTX and GTX come with a powered sunroof and LED cabin lights, some things that we just saw on the HTX+ and GTX+ trim before. The entry-level HTE and HTK variants now get USB charging for the first and second row of seats as well, which means these features become standard across the variants.

The Kia Seltos is one of the best looking cars of India. For the MY2020, all variants, except for the HTE and HTK, will be packed with dual exhaust tips on the rear bumper which were only offered on the higher versions previously. Metal scuff plates are added to the HTX and HTX+ variants, which were, again, only available on the GTX and GTX+ trims.

The mechanical department of 2020 Kia Seltos remains untouched. The SUV continues with three powertrain options: a 113 BHP/ 145 Nm 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine, a 113 BHP/250Nm 1.5-litre diesel motor and a more powerful 138 BHP/242 Nm 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol unit. Transmission choices encompass a standard 6-speed MT along with a CVT, a 6-speed AT and a 7-speed DCT as optional. Kia Seltos shares the same platform with the new Creta which also gets a similar mechanical package.
