Hyundai has silently made some changes to the variant line-up of its three models including Hyundai Venue, Santro and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. Check here for more details.

In the year 2021, carmakers are revising the prices of their existing model line-up. To do so, they are adding or deleting variants of their products. Hyundai has followed this suite as well, and the very first model that see a revision in their variant line-up are  - Hyundai Venue, Grand i10 Nios and Santro. These models are some of the most popular cars in Hyundai’s production range. Let’s check out more details of the recent line-up updates below.

Hyundai Venue

For the Hyundai Venue, Hyundai has ended the base S variant with 1.0-litre turbo petrol-MT powertrain. This variant was the most affordable option of the 1.0litre turbo range. However, due to being a less popular choice among the customers, the 1.0L Turbo MT S variant was finally discontinued. It also means that the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine is now available with 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox only.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios

The Grand i10 is the most popular hatchback on Hyundai’s line-up. Last year, in September, Hyundai launched the special Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition as a way to boost sales during the festive season. This model was based on the mid-range Magna trim but added with some extra features. It was available at a premium over the standard Magna. As the festive season ended a while ago, Hyundai has now put an end to this variant.

Other additional goodies of this special edition include electrically foldable ORVMs with integrated turn indicators and 15-inch steel ‘gun-metal’ wheels. This variant derived power from either a 1.2-litre petrol engine or a 1.2-litre diesel CRDi engine. There were both manual and automatic gearbox on offer.
