Hyundai Venue Booking Starts Tomorrow

Hyundai Venue’s booking will start tomorrow. Customers could start booking through dealerships and online booking site then.

Hyundai Venue is set to launch on May 21. The booking for the new SUV will start from tomorrow. Right now, some dealership has already accepted deposit. Apart from the traditional booking through the dealership, customers can now register online for the best convenience.

Even though being introduced at the same time as the global version, the India-spec Hyundai Venue is different in one way or another. In our market, Hyundai Venue comes with plastic cladding and pronounced wheel arches with 16-inch wheels and stronger shoulder line.

Hyundai Venue is offered with three engine options, two petrol and one diesel. The petrol range includes a 1.2-litre and a 1.0-litre turbocharged unit. The bigger engine could make 83 hp and 115 Nm while the smaller engine is able to put out 120 bp and 172 Nm. The last engine is a 1.4-litre oil burner that could make 90 bhp of maximum power and 220 Nm of peak torque. Five-speed manual transmission is available on the 1.2-litre petrol. 1.4-litre diesel comes with 6-speed manual gearbox. Dual clutch transmission is available on the turbocharged petrol engine only, making it the first on its class to offer this powetrain option. Unfortunately, Hyundai Venue will leave the diesel-automatic box unticked on the diesel variants.

Hyundai Venue will be available with a load of comfort and connectivity features 

This SUV will come fully-loaded with comfort and connectivity features. It will be available with sunroof, wireless charging, keyless go and cruise control. At the centre of the dashboard sits an 8.0-inch touchscreen supported by Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. On top of all these, the Hyundai Venue will offer the cutting-edge connectivity system supported by e-SIM-based Blue Link system. This system could feature 33 different functions and 10 functions are specially designed for the India market.

In terms of safety features, Hyundai Venue offers dual airbags and ISOFIX child-seat across the range. On the higher spec, it will get ESC, hill-assist control and brake assist and six airbags.

At the price from Rs 8-12 lakh, Hyundai Venue will compete against the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport.
