Hyundai Venue & Creta Help Brand With Increased Sales For June 2020

Hyundai India sold 28,820 cars last month, and all-new Hyundai Creta and Venue were among the most popular products on the sales chart.

Korean automaker Hyundai has announced its sales report for the last month. The carmaker has registered an increase in domestic sales as well as export volumes with a total of 28,820 units sold in June 2020. This is a big increase from a total of 12,583 units retailed in May this year. But, is still quite less compared to the 58,807 units sold by the carmaker during the same month last year. Last month, Hyundai sold 21,320 units in the domestic market, while the automaker’s export count touched 5,500 units. Cars like Creta, Verna, and Venue were among the most popular ones. In June 2020, the carmaker finally started the production as Unlock 1 was announced. Now, Hyundai Motor India Ltd follows a strict safety and sanitization policy as directed by the State and Central government.

Within the production facility, the carmaker ensures the health and fitness of its workers. Hyundai sells 9 cars across all the segments, which consist of Santro, Grand i10, Grand i10 Nios, Elite i20, Venue, Xcent, Verna, Elantra, and Creta. Last Month, Hyundai also entered in a partnership with HDFC Bank to offer flexible EMI options and help potential buyers to buy a brand new Hyundai car during these hard times. Talking about the new-gen Hyundai Creta, the mid-size SUV is offered in five different trim levels namely- E, EX, S, SX and SX (O). It was first showcased earlier this year at the 2020 Auto Expo. During the country-wide lockdown, the all-new Hyundai SUV has gathered bookings for more than 30,000 units.

It is priced between Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) to Rs 17.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is based on the platform of Kia Seltos. The 2020 Hyundai Creta derives power from three different engine options- 1.5-litre petrol, a 1.5-litre diesel and a potent 1.4-litre turbo petrol mill. The new-gen Hyundai Creta comes loaded with features like a Bose sound system with 8 speakers, voice-enabled panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, a touchscreen infotainment system with latest connectivity options and so on. It rivals the likes of Kia Seltos and Nissan Kicks.
