It has been informed by the Senior General Manager and Group Head, Marketing, Hyundai India, Puneet Anand that 1.5 lakh replies have been received. The number is expected by Hyundai to rise to five lakh by the end of the campaign.

The Hyundai Santro, which was released into the Indian market in 1999, soon became a household name with the Indian. The striking tall-boy design of the old Santro will be preserved in the new AH2 hatchback. These may be the reason why a majority of the participants have decided to choose the name “Santro”.
