Jeep Compass Available With Discounts Of Rs 1.75 Lakh This Month

The Jeep Compass is being offered with generous discounts up to Rs 1.75 lakh this month.

The ongoing slump in the Indian auto industry has forced numerous auto manufacturers to offer massive discounts across their lineup. Moreover, the upcoming festive season is also the glamorous opportunity for carmakers to increase sales of their cars with attractive discount offers. Jeep is not an exception and is curently offering the Jeep Compass with maximum discounts up to Rs 1.75 lakh this October.

In the diesel versions, if you buy the entry-level Jeep Compass Sport 4x2 trim, you can save Rs 1.75 lakh while the Sport Plus can be purchased with a discount of Rs 1.25 lakh. Meanwhile, the Longitude and Longitude Option and Limited variants come with discounts of Rs 1.55 lakh. The Limited Option variant is also offered with a discount of Rs 1.75 lakh which including a cash discount and exchange bonus.

When it comes to the petrol version, the base Sport and Sport Plus MT are now available with cash discounts of Rs 86,000 and Rs 75,000, respectively. Buying a Jeep Compass in the Longitude Option or Limited trims, you could be entitled to a Rs 1.25 lakh discount.

On a seperate note, both of the Trailhawk and the Limited Plus variants are not available with any discounts at all.

The Jeep Compass gets two choices of motors to choose from - a 2.0-litre turbo diesel and a 1.4-litre turbo petrol. While the former can generate 173 PS and 350 Nm of torque, whereas the latter can deliver 163 PS and 250 Nm of peak torque. The transmission duties on the diesel version are undertaken by a 6-speed MT unit while only the top-spec Trailhawk version is offered with a 9-speed AT unit. On the petrol versions, you get the choice of either a 6-speed MT or a 7-speed DCT. The American automaker is expected to introduce the Trailhawk’s 9-speed AT and BS-VI compliant motor to the rest of the lineup.
